Feeling patriotic?  Help support our troops and military families by donating your expired coupons!  When a coupon expires, we typically just throw it away, but military bases overseas can use coupons for up to six months past their expiration date.  To help make up for the expense of living overseas, many military families rely on donated coupons.  I recently spoke with Troopons to find out more.

Troopons:  Troopons are expired coupons that our troops & their families can use overseas.

Deal O'Neal:  How did you get started?

Troopons:  Support Our Troops started Troopons a couple years ago when we learned that troops overseas were struggling with finances and that the bases over there would take expired coupons.

Deal O'Neal:  How does it work?

Troopons:  Very simple. People send their expired and current coupons to us (now Coupon Cabin) to be redistributed overseas. We then send it to the list of bases we have and anyone whom has requested it. Now that we have partnered with Coupon Cabin, we are now helping military families here at home as well.
